What data sources can I connect?
maihelp.ai ships with native adapters for Jira, Confluence, Google Drive, Slack, Gmail, SharePoint/OneDrive, S3 file uploads, web scraping, and a generic REST API connector. New adapters are added regularly.
Which LLM providers are supported?
You can use OpenAI (GPT-4o), Anthropic (Claude), Google (Gemini), or self-hosted models via Ollama. Bring your own API keys — we never store or proxy your LLM traffic.
Is my data secure?
Yes. Each organization has fully isolated data. The self-hosted edition runs entirely in your infrastructure. The cloud edition encrypts data at rest and in transit, with optional PII auto-redaction before indexing.
Can I self-host for free?
Absolutely. The open-source edition is free forever with no feature restrictions. You only need your own infrastructure (Docker, Postgres, Redis) and LLM API keys.
How long does setup take?
A basic deployment takes about 5 minutes with Docker Compose. Connecting your first data source and running an initial sync typically takes another 10-15 minutes depending on volume.
